Just a quick Money Saving Monday tip for today! Internet Ads… those annoying banners or bars across the top of web pages or in the side-bars… I am so used to “tuning those out” and not even looking at them because they’re uber annoying, but they sometimes hold better deals than normal coupons you can find on coupon sites. For example, just a couple days ago I printed two 50¢ off Honey Nut Cheerios coupons. And just a little bit ago, I was on a website that had an ad for Honey Nut Cheerios that said “Save $1.50 on Honey Nut Cheerios”. So, I clicked it. It loaded a page that had a $1.50 off two boxes coupon! That’s 50¢ better than using the other two coupons for the same thing!
A little tip, if you find out about a coupon on a site, 1) go check it out quick, because they’ll have limited number of prints, and 2) if you don’t see the ad/coupon right away, try refreshing the page a few times and seeing if it shows up, they often have multiple ads for one space on the page.
